In a bizarre partnership that defies usual predictions, Ubisoft has announced an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including free extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Revealed

According to the formal statement, "A mysterious encounter pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of prohibited rituals and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the darkness." The narrative features a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret group.

The questline concentrates on "strange experiments and a terrifying foe" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses

The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a striking scene showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Extra Features

Players who accomplish the quest will receive an exclusive katana together with several artifacts hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
