Fatal Passenger Vehicle Crash in Northeastern the Brazilian Northeast Takes 15 Lives
A intercity bus journeying through north-eastern the country met with a serious accident, leaving 15 individuals fatally injured, as reported by local officials.

The vehicle was transporting around 30 people when it lost control and slammed into a sandbank, leading it to overturn. How many wounded individuals transported to local hospitals is not yet confirmed.
The journey began in the region of Bahia and ended tragically in the city of Saloá, located in the adjacent area of Pernambuco state.
How It Happened
Initial reports suggest that the bus operator lost control of the bus, crossing into the opposite lane and hitting rocks on the shoulder. Subsequently, the driver returned to the proper lane but then crashed into a sandbank, which led the vehicle to overturn.
The cause behind the crash is currently being looked into. The driver sustained minor injuries and tested negative for alcohol.

The governor stated that the administration is offering support for the rescue operation and victim identification. They remarked, "Our team is following the situation and deeply mourn the fatalities, the harm and the pain of all the affected families."
